ISBA Announces Draft
Legislation to Redefine Honey ~ February 1, 2010
Throughout 2009, the ISBA has been working on draft
legislation that will be introduced to the Illinois House and Senate in 2010.
As you may already know, Honey is presently defined by the Illinois Department
of Public Health as a “processed” food and therefore its
handling and ultimately it sale falls under significant regulation.
